Foundation

During World War II, the skies above Monterey Bay roared with Warbirds — powerful aircraft that launched from local airfields to protect our coastline. Those planes represented strength, determination, and a community united behind a common mission.
Warbird Wellness Foundation carries that same spirit forward.
We were founded with a simple belief: every young athlete in the Monterey Bay area deserves the chance to compete at a high level — regardless of what their family can afford. Too many talented kids are forced to sit out because team fees, tournament costs, and elite program pricing put competitive sports out of reach. We're here to change that.
Our Foundation provides youth across the Monterey Bay community with access to competitive baseball, soccer, softball, football and basketball — right here at home. No thousand-dollar travel fees. No pay-to-play barriers. Just quality coaching, real competition, and a commitment to developing the whole athlete — mind, body, and character.
But our mission doesn't stop at the final whistle. We believe wellness extends beyond the field — into how our youth handle adversity, build confidence, and carry themselves in school and in life. Through mentorship, team culture, and a foundation built on discipline and respect, we invest in who these young athletes are becoming off the field just as much as on it. Healthy minds and healthy bodies go hand in hand.
Like the Warbirds that once took flight from these shores, our young athletes are built to rise. We believe sport is more than a game — it's a path to wellness, discipline, and belonging. And every kid deserves a shot at that, no matter their zip code or bank account.
This is more than a team. It's a movement. Welcome to Warbird Wellness Foundation.
